We're on your side.
The airline has a whole department for saying no. You have us. We know how this works, we know what you're owed, and we fight for it so you can get on with your life. It costs you nothing.
Your questions
Where does "up to ₪15,910" come from?
It's the most Israeli law gives one passenger without having to prove any loss. ₪3,670 is the top tier of fixed compensation, for flights over 4,500 km, and the airline owes it as soon as you ask. A court can add up to ₪12,240 in exemplary damages when the airline knowingly withheld what the law requires. Your ticket refund, costs you paid yourself (meals, a hotel, calls) and losses you can prove come on top of that. Most claims get less than the full figure, and we'll tell you straight what yours is worth.
What compensation can I get for a delayed flight to or from Israel?
It depends on how long you waited and where you flew. Under Israeli law, a departure delay of 8 hours or more can entitle you to ₪1,530, ₪2,450 or ₪3,670, depending on the flight distance. If you flew from an EU airport, or into the EU on a European airline, European rules can entitle you to €250, €400 or €600 when you arrived 3 hours late or more. Tell us what happened and we'll work out which rules apply to you.
What can I get if my flight was cancelled?
If the airline cancelled your flight, Israeli law can entitle you to ₪1,530, ₪2,450 or ₪3,670 by flight distance, and European rules to €250, €400 or €600 where they apply. How much notice the airline gave you and which replacement flight it offered can change the amount, so tell us the details.
What if I was bumped from an overbooked flight?
If you had a valid ticket and the airline refused to let you board because it sold too many seats, you can be owed the same amounts as for a cancellation: ₪1,530 to ₪3,670 under Israeli law, or €250 to €600 under European rules.
What if my bags were lost, delayed or damaged?
If your bag was lost, delayed or damaged, the airline can owe you up to about ₪6,400 for what you lost: the bag, what was in it, and things you had to buy while you waited for it. Tell the airline in writing, and do it fast: within 7 days if your bag was damaged, and within 21 days of getting a delayed bag back. Keep your receipts and the baggage report from the airport.
How long do I have to make a claim?
Act soon. For bags, the deadlines are short: a written complaint within 7 days for damage, and within 21 days of getting delayed bags back. The right to compensation for bags ends 2 years after the flight. For delays, cancellations and bumping, the time limit depends on which law applies and can run to several years, but evidence gets harder to collect as time passes. Send us your claim now and we'll check your deadline.
Does it cost me anything?
Chutzpay costs you nothing. Tell us what happened, and we take it from there.
